In a traffic jam at 30 degrees, concentration drops rapidly. Heat, fumes and stop-and-go wear on your nerves – and rushing leads to mistakes.
Calm in hot city traffic
- Use the ventilation: Open the vents, crack your visor open when stationary.
- Drink enough: Before the ride and during breaks, even if you're not thirsty.
- Stay patient: Rushing won't get you there a single metre sooner.
Calm in traffic can be trained. My Burnout Prevention shows you how to build it.
