A faster bike passes you, maybe a little close, maybe with a twist of the throttle that looks like a challenge. The reflex: go after it. Composure means noticing that reflex – and simply riding on.

Being overtaken calmly

  • Make room: Hold your line and leave space instead of blocking.
  • Don't get pulled along: Your pace isn't set by others.
  • Watch your ego: If you get annoyed, ask yourself: what am I trying to prove right now?

Calm towards others can be trained. If you notice moments like this throwing you off, let's talk about it in a Focus Session.
