With a pillion, slow riding feels completely different again. The extra weight sits high, every movement behind you has an effect, and the bike wants to tip over more quickly.

Slow riding two-up

  • Solo first, then two-up: Master slow riding on your own before trying it with a pillion.
  • Brief your pillion: Ask your pillion to sit still and not lean against the movement.
  • Stay smooth: The clutch and rear brake give you control two-up as well.

If you stay calm at low speed, you stay calm everywhere. If you hit inner limits, my Focus Sessions start right there.
