The perfect photo spot is often exactly where you shouldn't stop: on a bend, on a narrow pass, at the roadside with nowhere to pull over. No picture is worth putting yourself or others at risk.
Getting the photo safely
- Find a suitable spot: Only stop where you're clearly visible and not in anyone's way.
- Park calmly: Side stand on firm ground; on a slope, leave the bike in gear.
- Stay alert: When taking photos near the road, keep an eye on the traffic.
