The biker wave is more than a gesture. A quick hand signal says: we share the same passion – and the same risk. It's a small sign of solidarity on the road.

Waving with sense

  • Safety first: In corners, under braking or in heavy traffic, both hands stay where they belong. A nod is enough.
  • Left hand, briefly: Two fingers down or a quick lift – no big show.
  • Don't take it personally: If someone doesn't wave back, they may simply have had their hands full.
