Workshops have time in winter. If you have the big service done now, you won't wait weeks for an appointment in spring, and you start with a bike you trust.
- Book early. Diaries fill up in winter too, and a slot in December is more relaxed than one in March.
- Bring a list of everything you noticed during the season: noises, vibrations, wear.
- Ask about tyres, brake pads, chain and fluids.
