Finally, your bike needs a good place for the winter. Clean, dry and protected, and in spring you find it just as you left it.
- Wash and dry it thoroughly first. Salt and dirt otherwise eat into paint and metal over the months.
- Use a breathable cover. Plastic sheeting traps moisture.
- Give the tyres a rest, ideally with a paddock stand, so they don't get flat spots.
