With a pillion, you're not just riding for yourself but for two. The bike reacts more slowly, braking distances get longer – and you feel every movement behind you through the bars. A relaxed pillion is therefore just as important as correctly set-up suspension.

Calm together

  • Talk beforehand: Explain to your pillion how to move with you in corners and where to hold on.
  • Adjust the suspension: Set preload and tyre pressure for the extra weight.
  • Ride more smoothly: Gentle pulling away and braking gives both of you confidence.

A good team on two wheels is built on trust. If you feel unsure about it, I'm happy to help in a Focus Session.
